Overall Solo - $100
Overall Duo/Trio - $100
Overall Small Group - $125
Overall Large Group - $175
Overall Production - $250

Cash Awards and trohpies/plaques will be given in both the Elite and Intermediate Division. There must be a minimum of 10 entries per age division, level and type of entry for a cash award to be given. No cash awards will be awarded in the recreational division. Overall winners in the recreational division will receive trophies/plaques and a Masquerade Gift Certificate.
Parade of Stars
At every regional competition, judges and staff will select certain outstanding performers to join the Masquerade Parade of Stars. These dancers will be featured in a special section of the website and are invited to perform in the opening number at either the Destin or Minneapolis National competitions. You can view the 2006 Opening Number “Storm” by visiting the video section of our website.
Top Studio
At every regional competition a top studio is selected by averaging each studio’s 10 highest scoring group entries. The entries taken into consideration for the average can not contain more then 5 entries in the Intermediate Division. (Recreational Entries will not be included) Studios must enter at least 10 groups to be eligible. The studio owner will receive a $200 cash award. In the event there is less then 150 entries at a regional competition, the studio owner will receive a $200 gift certificate.
Best of Show
The Best of Show award is given to the highest scoring group entry of the regional competition. Winners will receive a free entry to the nationals of their choice.
ENCORE Award
The staff and judges will select certain entertaining entries to return for an Encore Performance at the conclusion of the competition day. Judges will view these entries again and choose the winner of the Encore award. This award is chosen based on Entertainment Value.
Second Line Spirit Award
At the conclusion of the competition day, each studio will have an opportunity to display their studio spirit. Studios will be judged on overall spirit and sportsmanship throughout the competition. Studios are encouraged to bring posters, decorations and anything else that will make your studio stand out to our staff.
Title Competition
Dancers who compete with 2 or more solos in the elite level are automatically entered in the title competition. Title winners are determined by adding their two highest scoring solos. In the event of a tie, judges will make the final decision. There must be a minimum of 5 title contenders in an age division for a title to be awarded.
