Three qualified judges will judge all entries for adjudication. Regional routines with "High Silver" or above will be eligible to compete at one of our national competitions. Each entry will receive placement pins for each participant in duos, trios and groups and a plaque for the studio.

Platinum: 300-285
High Gold: 284-276
Gold: 275-267
High Silver: 266-260
Bronze: 245 & Below
Adjudicated routines have the opportunity to place in overalls. There must be at least three routines in each division/category to be eligible. The amount of routines in each category determines the amount of placements that will be given.
Title will be awarded in the Purple (elite) Division for each age division provided there are at least 5 title contestants. To be considered for title, contestants must enter 2 solos in 2 different disciplines of dance. The dancer with the highest cumulative score will be awarded the title for that age division. In the event of a tie, judges will make the final decision.
The Judges will select certain entertain entries to return for an "Encore Performance" at the conclusion of the competition day. Judges will view these entries again choose the winner of our Encore Award. This award is chosen on entertainment value.
$25.00 Entry fee per photo/person
All photos must be submitted at the registration table prior to the start of competition day. All entries will be judged on a point system of 100 points. Each entry will receive either: Platinum, High Gold, Gold, High Silver, Silver, or Bronze. An Overall Photogenic award will be given in each of the 4 age divisions provided there are a minimum of 5 entries. Entrants must submit a color photograph no larger than 8"x10" with the contestant name, studio name and age on the back. All photos must be picked up at the registration table following the awards session. Masquerade is not responsible for any unclaimed photographs. Any unclaimed photos will be turned over to studio owners at the end of competition. Please do NOT mail photos or photogenic entry fees.
At every regional competitions, judges and staff will select certain outstanding performers to join the Masquerade Parade of Stars. Dancers can be chosen throughout the competition and announced at the end of competition. These dancers will be featured on a special section of the website and are invited to perform in the opening number performances at either of our National competitions in Ft. Walton Beach or Minneapolis. Parade of Stars dancers are also eligible to participate in the All Star Kids Convention in New York City. Information packets will be handed out to selected dancers.
